I'm not expecting miracles from Obama but let's enjoy this great moment.

It's one for the ages.

  1. Damned straight.

Just having a president that will think through problems before acting will be a great change.

  2. It is almost as good knowing there is NO PRESIDENT BUSH ANYMORE as it is too welcome President Obama into office.

I am just going to type that again.

    NO PRESIDENT BUSH ANYMORE!

    Ahhhhhh

  4. I watched the Inauguration on CNN last night.

Indonesia is so happy that Obama becomes the president. There's a celebration in a 5 stars hotel held by Obama's Indonesian ex-elementary school classmates.

  5. At least people have a reason to be optimistic for at least a few minutes in these dark times.

  7. Mike,

We don't expect miracles. We just expect a president with greater intellectual capacity than your average Howler monkey. Something that's been sorely missing these last 8 years.

Also- 46% of the country need to sit down and shut up after they fucked things up so bad. You included.

    Cheers!

  8. On Bush's inauguration 8 years ago, it was a rainy, gloomy day, as if a portend to the future; like the world itself was crying.

But yesterday was bright and sunny in DC. Just sayin'.

  9. Funny that Mike points out that 46% of the country didn't vote for Obama. When G.W.B. was first elected 51% of the country didn't vote for him. Did that stop him?
