I actually remember reading some Wilkerson comics way back when. It actually wasn't too horrible. At least the Preach is reaching out to help here instead of railing against all the people they hate like many current Preachers do.
Hmmm, looks like a take-off on "West Side Story"...which I hate. Also "Bye, Bye Birdie"...something about the weird late 50's-early 60's urban/suburban modern dance musical that I found excruciatingly creepy...
On the other hand, I love the Sound of Music, Mary Poppins and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.

I remember this comic. The ending creeped me out as a kid. I had nightmares about the undead preacher pieces following Nicky around and telling him they love him.
