The World Holds It's Breath For Iran

What ever happens with the outcome of the Iranian protests, one thing is for sure, the Iranian populace will never be the same. I hope for a positive and just outcome for these people yearning and struggling to be free.

We are in uncharted territory now things can go in so many different directions...

From your lips...

I think I just posted the same video - following everything going on via tweets.

I've been mulling over whether to mention this on the Shrine; good on ya, Swinebread!

It is looking like the cat is out of the bag. There is a lot of wacky, conflicting information.

Prof. Juan Cole is an expert on the region and speaks many of the languages. Check him out to get an informed view beyond to supplement these emotional videos and Twitters.

(That was a powerful video, but the English language signs gave me a "Baby Milk Factory" kind of shove in the wrong direction. They might want to at least make them bilingual to make their point. Nobody is under the illusion that so many people walk around Tehran chatting in English.)

rob! - I like to keep things happy here but this just seems too important

snab - Persians do tend to better educated than you might suspect. Plus, I think some shots were actually form rallies outside of Iran.
