James T. Kirk Returns for Star Trek 11
In the latest issue of Star Trek Magazine it’s confirmed that the Character of James T. Kirk will be in the next Star Trek film. The Paramount folks are completely mum on the story and script but its been assumed by this admission that were lookin’ at a “Star Trek the early years” kinda movie. So the action must center around a young Kirk and Spock on their first mission, but really when you think about it, there really was no place for Paramount to go but back to the original.
Star Trek 11 (titled: Star Trek)
Filming: Fall 2007
Release Date: Christmas 2008
Writers: Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci
Direcctor: J.J. Abrams

it's star trek 11, ass face
Didn't I read about obtuse Star Trek blog trolls over at Pathetic Geek stories?
Weird... I must have had 2008 on my mind when I put 8. Oh Well…
I wonder if they're planning on using the novel "Star Trek: The Early Years" as the basis. It had a quaint, dry plot that would maybe make a good TV miniseries, but a movie?
The best part of the novel is the fact that some of the famous characters, Scotty, Spock, and Sulu, all hate Kirk in the beginning and immediately ask for transfers! Yes! We are NOT one, big, happy family for a change!!!
Interesting, I wonder who they will get to play the "Kirk"...
Maybe they'll get back to Gene Roddenberry's original ideas which the films abandoned.
BTW, have any of you seen the new episodes of TOS made by a group of fans? I've only seen the first one so far. It takes a bit to get used to different people playing the characters, but not as much as I expected. If you can tolerate acting which is often worse than on the original TV series and such extremities as the Enterprise and a Klingon D7 barrel-rolling, it's actually kind of cool.
Yeah, that's Star Trek the New Voyages... Yeah I just wish the acting was a little better but it is fun.
As long as Berman and Braga aren't involved I'm happy.
To correct Anonymous you do not have a face that looks like an ass, Swine.
Thanks dean... this issue of Star Trek Magazine has an article about what Berman is up to since he had to leave. He's writing book. Who in the hell will want to read that?
You write very well.
