Monster Mash Singer Gone Beyond the Grave
Bobby "Boris" Pickett co-writer of the song Monster Mash has died (see here). Of course he famously provided the Karloff-like vocals for the Halloween favorite as well. So long and thanks for the “graveyard smash.”

Halloween got a shot in the arm from Pickett. Good stuff and good video.
Fare thee well.
That tune is my favorite Halloween song! It's sad, another one "bites the dust", as it were.
It's sad but hey, his tune will live on so he does in a way.
Good video. That floating brain (The Brain From Planet Arous) was made from fiberglass. In elementary school we had a haunted house and one of the kids fathers worked in films and brought the brain, with a light inside of it, for the haunted house. It was great.
Thanks for the memories. So long, Bobby.
WOW that's very cool!
I love the version with Boris Karloff singing.
