Oh, yes...THAT!That video is famous (notorious?) now. It actually came out back in the mid to late 80s, when the Japanese smugly thought of themselves as the safest country on Earth and believed that in the U.S. everyone carried guns and lived in constant fear of their lives.I've had a ball pointing out that I know far more victims of violent crime here in Japan than in the States.
So, what if she gets robbed by a single man? Or three men? Or two women? Or a horse, a donkey and a rooster? This video would really bug a female friend of mine who teaches rape defense and is a 2nd Dan aikidoka.I think I'll show it to her...
My WTF? and OMFG meters were pegged in the red zone on this video.
Disturbing on many counts....kind of like some Americans who think any country south of the border is full of bandits, drug dealers and "crazy Latinos" - when almost everybody are just regular folks tryin' to get by.Also, in Mexico at least, they drive far better than Italians, but the roads suck.Heck, I'd still ride the bus if I were down there, it's the best way to get around town!
Holy cow.Is that the appropriate way to wear a bandina while mugging someone? With the scarf tied just below the nose?
I'm pretty sure this video was produced in Carcosa by Hastur himself. Also, there are probably some rogue statues in Pan Tang singing this song. You really need to stop posting these, I missed another sanity roll. phshehnntpgpt.
I, too, thought that the tied-under-the-nose bandanna was the dumbest way to disguise oneself. But, now that I think about it, it justmight work. I mean could you describe the guy in any way other than "he was heavyset and had a bandanna tied under his nose like a moron."?
moody – its from the 80s? OK that that makes sense…. NOTalso there’s nothing like a little Nerve Gas and a tanking economy to change perceptions.arkonbey – show it to everyone… spread the good newssanb – you and me both. I watch it again every once in awhile because I can’t believe it’s real.LB – I see you desperately trying to find some sort of context for this vid… don’t even try. That way is madness…dean – what a clever disguiseOD – Slortar, Slortar, you’re so beautiful, oh Slortar … that’s it! Japan is Pan Tang… Arkonbey – I guess this was an actual Japanes disguise from long ago… so of course a modern American would be using it.
