What D&D Character Are You?

Apparently I’m totally lame... because I am a:

Chaotic Neutral Elf Bard

Alignment:
Chaotic Neutral characters are unstable, and frequently insane. They believe in disorder first and foremost, and will thus strive for that disorder in everything they do. This means that they will do whatever seems 'fun' or 'novel' at any given time.

Race:
Elves are the eldest of all races, although they are generally a bit smaller than humans. They are generally well-cultured, artistic, easy-going, and because of their long lives, unconcerned with day-to-day activities that other races frequently concern themselves with. Elves are, effectively, immortal, although they can be killed. After a thousand years or so, they simply pass on to the next plane of existance.

Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

Oh well, at least I'm the life of the party...

...so to speak.

Like real D&D I'm going to skip rolling a character and instead make up a 35th level Lawful Good Human Bard.

Hey, This is me:

You Are A:

Chaotic Good Elf Bard

Alignment:
Chaotic Good characters are independent types with a strong belief in the value of goodness. They have little use for governments and other forces of order, and will generally do their own things, without heed to such groups.

I'm a Chaotic Good Halfling Bard.

the last character I ever actually played was a neutral-good half-orc. since I played it well after college, I must offset my geekiness by stating that the character's name was the same one that is on my birth certificate and not something like Thorgar the Smiter

Never played D&D but according to this quiz:
Alignment:
Lawful Good characters are the epitome of all that is just and good. They believe in order and governments that work for the benefit of all, and generally do not mind doing direct work to further their beliefs.

Race:
Halflings are short and fat, like minuature people. (Think 'Hobbits') They enjoy the easy life, but aren't averse to the idea of an adventure from time to time. They get along with all races, and are known for their senses of humor. Halflings also tend to be light of foot, and can move quietly when necessary.

Primary Class:
Fighters are the warriors. They use weapons to accomplish their goals. This isn't to say that they aren't intelligent, but that they do, in fact, believe that violence is frequently the answer.

I disagree with that last bit about violence. But otherwise, it reflects my personality.

Who are you calling a bard?

Guess what?

I'm a True Neutral Half-Elf Bard

Alignment:
True Neutral characters are very rare. They believe that balance is the most important thing, and will not side with any other force. They will do whatever is necessary to preserve that balance, even if it means switching allegiances suddenly.

Race:
Half-Elves are a cross between a human and an elf. They are smaller, like their elven ancestors, but have a much shorter lifespan. They are sometimes looked down upon as half-breeds, but this is rare. They have both the curious drive of humans and the patience of elves.

Primary Class:
Bards are the entertainers. They sing, dance, and play instruments to make other people happy, and, frequently, make money. They also tend to dabble in magic a bit.

So we have one LG halfling fighter and a whole bunch of bards in our party. Yay! A BAND OF MINSTRELS!

Shall we, my friends?

Bravely bold Sir Panda rode forth from Kashima.
He was not afraid to die,
O brave Sir Panda.
He was not at all afraid to be killed in nasty ways,
Brave, brave, brave, brave Sir Panda!

He was not in the least bit scared to be mashed into a pulp,
Or to have his eyes gouged out and his elbows broken,
To have his kneecaps split and his body burned away
And his limbs all hacked and mangled, brave Sir Panda!

His head smashed in and his heart cut out
And his liver removed and his bowels unplugged
And his nostrils raped and his bottom burned off
And his pen--

Stop that! That's silly!

I harbor serious doubts as to the likelihood of this party surviving the first campaign. I mean, it's possible for the chaotic neutral and chaotic good bards to get along without too much trouble, if you ignore a bit of flippancy and flightiness, the odd argument and/or haymaker to the jaw, and what-have-you. The true neutral bard could also remain as a member of the troupe, particularly as his half-elven patience would help him better tolerate the chronically Bohemian nature of his companions.

But seriously now; a troupe of minstrels for a LAWFUL GOOD HALFLING? They'd make the poor, little sod's life utterly miserable until he either dispatched them or dispatched himself!

But that's just my INCONSEQUENTIAL opinion. Jolly good! Carry on!

Man. Now that Philrod puts us in a party, all I can picture is a bunch of Elans from The Order of the Stick tramping around singing and getting killed.

panda - I guess your the leader of the group - congrats!

moody - A BAND OF MINSTRELS! Yes, but I figure I'd the Sid Vicious of the group being chaotic Neutral and all. You read my mind with the Holy Grail song. Ha ha

SBG - Yes it is! No it isn't...!

philrod - it sure would be funny though!

arkonbey - killed? that's for dam sure!
