For the sake of the party, I know the two of them can come together.

This is why MadTV is better than SNL.

Funny but all sorts of wrong at the same time.

The thought of that really happening makes me throw up a little.

Yeah my SO said it gross too!

But wanting throw up just adds to the funny!

That gave me some needed chuckles. Thanks!

Disturbing, but pretty funny stuff.

American politics just got even more interesting (as if it were all that interesting to begin with).

Frankly I think SNL and MadTV suck. The quality of sketch comedy has fallen so far.

Snab – glad to hear!

EW – exactly

Moody – finally right!

OD – yes they both suck, but MadTV is still better even if it sucks

Mad TV is underrated. Alas, because they tape in advance by about two weeks most of the time, they're told not to be very topical, and so they don't go political that often as a result.

SNL in its crappy periods generally has 2-3 good sketches still, but it can be awfully painful sitting through to find them. I agree, I'd love to have a really sharp sketch show out there.

However, The State is finally coming out on DVD!

The difference between SNL and Mad TV is timing.

Mad TV nearly jumped the shark for me a couple of years ago when it seemed to be the Ms. Kwan show. But, they're back and funny as ever.

SNL has been off of the shark since the original Not Ready for Primetime Players disbanded.

I took Viagra with prune juice. Now I don't know if I'm coming or going.

Doc S – Muhahahahahahahaha!!!!!

Bat… - I agree MadTV is funnier but sadly it’s less topical… We need a new kids in the Hall… there’s been a few things on cable but they just haven’t caught on with me.

I haven’t seen the state

Arkonbey – I think SNL got some of that magic back in late 80’s as some of my favorite skits are from that time but then Toonces the driving cat was the funniest thing in the world to me. But timing is why Mad TV is better Yes

Panda – that sure describes the feeling that most folks get from watching this video…
