David Hasselhoff Celebrates National Hamburger Month

"The Hoff" doesn’t let a little thing like alcoholism stand in his way of getting that perfect burger for National Hamburger Month.

OK it is kinda sad and feel sorry for the guy and his kids, but I just couldn’t help myself. Mephisto made do it.

THAT is horrible. What would Kit say?

I'm sure that any promises he makes while in that state of mind not to drink are rock solid.

Daaaaaaaaaavid Haaaaaaaaasselhof!!!!

There was a time when my little sister would say that with a gleam in her eyes (that was probably sarcastic, but anyway). My god, how far that guy has fallen! Is it the real Michael Knight, the evil one that the "reconstructed" (i.e. good) one was made to replace? Has he come back and reclaimed his identity?

I am new to this story...who the hell filmed this and how the hell did it wind up on YouTube?

Are they trying to save Hasselhoff through public embarrassment or was it some asshole being an asshole or trying to make money off of it?

I am no expert on alcoholism, but that scene looks like it could be another drug besides alcohol. I guess I should check People.com more often so I stay up on this stuff.

One of Hasselhoff's teenage daughters filmed it, (so ironic that that he's been ordered not to see them now..)

I think she just wanted to have her dad stop acting like an ass

I don't think his kids are in any danger necessarily (he didn't drive w/them ya know)...but this will certainly show what can happend when you get old in Hollywood-

Buh-bye! (along w/the money, attention, jobs, etc.....)

NEVER buy your kids a camera phone.

Poor Hoff.

Or is it poor THE Hoff?

I fear for the continued stability of the German state.

Stupid me. I had the sound off and my first comment only makes sense if that is the case.

According to the burger site link, the hamburger is from Wendy's.

Too bad, it would have made a great Carl's Junior commercial:

"Don't bother me. I'm eating. . . And beligerently drunk."

Parents, let this be a lesson to you. Make sure you get your kids really drunk and videotape them so you'll have some leverage later on.

Never heard of him, but pretty sad for someone to film that and share it with the world no matter who he is/was.

His daughter? Ouch.

Never heard of David Hasselhoff?!? I can't imagine it!

Looking at his profile on wickipedia, I don't see anything I would have watched even before I shot my tv.

"Imagine there'e no TV
It's easy if you try..."

Of course, without TV, there would be no American culture. Or perhaps more kids would go back to reading comic books and there would be a big improvement.

Shooting your TV would definitely be a good way to avoid lots of crap including the shows that “the Hoff” was on. What I was thinking when I said I couldn’t imagine it is he’s such a famous guy in the States that you can’t get away from him. Just when you think you’ve heard the last of “the Hoff” another story pops up about him, this one being particularly bad. As for more reading of anything I agree!

I remember that, in my school days, the guy's face was everywhere. He wasn't just a TV star, he was a popular sex symbol among disgruntled adolescent girls. Fear of seeing his face on posters was probably one of the reasons I didn't visit record shops more often.

I never even saw "Baywatch".

News about him has also had a tendency to pop up on internet link sites like Fark a lot. My attitude tended to be, "Hasn't anyone shot this guy yet?"

I guess they don't have to. He's blowing himself away.
