Eaglewing said it. Wow. It looks like a dark Lone Ranger. Awesome.

When, oh when will Jonah Hex cut that flap of skin off of his face? I mean, it's not like it's a major artery or anything.

Though, I totally agree with Mr. Hex on the shooting of scorpions with handguns. The arthropod, not the hair metal band.

how's that omega the unknown? is it new reader friendly? i like the covers but don't know what it's about. is it worth a pick up?

eaglewing - Me too, good solid revisionist western.

panda - It's a dark comics alright

arkonbey - Well the skin on the right side of his head would just snap of off if he did that.

yeah, give the band a break

Stephen - Omega the Unknown is kind of an Avant-garde sort of thing. It’s a reinterpretation of Steve Gerber’s Omega from the 1970s. The wikipedia entry (here) is actually pretty good. I would say it’s not real new reader friendly but then it’s not really clear from the beginning what is going on. It’s only a 10 issue limited series anyway. So you might just want to wait for the trade collection. It’s very indy… I like it because it’s distinctive and it’s refreshing to see a completely different style of art.
