What is the story about Serenity?
When it comes to these comics, I am clueless, but I did want to thank you for your warm greetings on the my return to computer world.
Serenity looks goooooooddddd.
Wash lives!
i miss serenity
I really liked the series, I guess it got canceled? We don't have cable anymore, so there's a few things I'm missin'
Selba – Nice new avatar!
“What is the story about Serenity?” Wow, that is a long story, but the short of it is that a Sci-fi TV show called Firefly came out in 2002 and although it failed initially, it had a large, and very loyal fan base. Eventually because of the fans, a movie, Serenity, was made that finished off the story.
Serenity is a space western of sorts. In the future, the Earth is abandoned and the two major cultures (the English-speaking world and China) merge together while feeling to another solar system. The stories take place a few years after a civil war that is reminiscent of the American Civil war.
Heroes of that show are smugglers that just want to be left alone by the government, but uncover dark plot along the way.
There has never been enough stories for the fans so Joss Whedon, creator of the show, periodically put out comics about the Serenity universe. See the links.
POP – Your welcome! What comics are you not clueless about? I’d be interested to hear about it.
Dean – It’s fun, to get back into it. Joss took too long to give us more stories.
Fade – me too!
LB – Yes they only had a few episodes, but it did get finished out by the Serenity film.
Never one who was much for Westerns but I am enjoying Bat Lash.
me too!
