Does Bruce Campbell get royalties every time someone draws Ash?

He should. He doesn't get near enough roles.

snab - it happens

arkonbey - I don't think so. I've heard rumors that he's kinda bitter right now because his career is not as good as it could be.

Santa needs to get to the comic store.

I could see Campbell being bitter. His local film that he largely financed himself doesn't seem to be taking off.

Although I still like the guy he was kind of a dick to my kids when they met him at a book signing. That after waiting four hours, most of it standing. He was pissed because he had a rule that the would only sign one book and one "thing." They had three "things" to sign (each on their own.)

Dean- you should send him a letter and let him know that he can't afford to be any kind of a dick.

Yeah. I know why he was because he had given explicit rules to the people sponsoring that everybody got one thing and one book signed. I think he had to do that because he was there until 3:00 a.m. or something at the last signing from what I hear. He was pissed at them for bending the rules and never really focused.

It was just unfortunate and marred what was a pretty cool thing for my kids. One of the things I like about Campbell and why I've shared him with my kids in the first place is he doesn't take anything that seriously and seems to do everything with a wink. Except in this case.

My 12 year old son did get a cool question in to him during the general audience q & a thing earlier.

oh well.

What was the event?

Speech and book signing last year at the Baghdad.

What's also stupid is I could've had the kids go up separately and he wouldn't of batted an eye but I wanted to try and get a photo of them with him. As it stood he was too pissed for that.
