Crisis On Infinite Earth Days

Earth Day 2008 has arrived. We don’t have infinite earths to use up and we don’t have infinite time to clean up our mess. Even simple changes in one's daily life can have a huge impact. The recycling motto is something we should all keep in mind: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle.

Do your best to live in harmony with nature.

Right on!

We're saving up for solar (low-pitch roof and ssw facing house cry out for it) and maybe one of these if we could scrounge up the bucks.

Time to clean up our living room.

It would be nice if Superman really did exist and kicked our collective asses.

Arkonbey-Like those Helix wind generators....much more friendly to the average homeowner for cost, maint & installation...

Hope to get solar at our place sometime, it's the easiest

Mini-hydro might work in our area (but not the place we live now)-just need to be near a year-round stream w/enough head/flow...

Awesome!

Fanks for the reminder bubbers!

can you imagine how terrifying it must be to live in the DC Universe? every other week, some otherworldly foe is thisclose to destroying the whole planet. how do you pull your overnight shift at Kinko's when crap like that is going on?

makes my walk to the paper and plastics recycling bin around the corner seem not so bad in comparison.

I guess I'll throw out all those Styrofoam cups tomorrow when it's not Earth day.

We should stop trying to nuke our planet though. I doubt Martian Manhunter wants us all moving in with him.

rob!: You're right. I'll bet the pharmaceutical industry in the DC universe sells a lot of anti-depressants...

Swine-

Where are you?

I'm starting to worry. No "my new comics" update. Nothing about Stan Lee returning to the biz.

This is where we come to find out about this stuff and get your take on things.

A concerned Dean Wormer.

Arkoneby – there should be tax breaks for green energy! The Helix looks very practical.

Snab – it happens! ☺

Dean – I’ve got several good series about the superheroes taking over because the people can’t get it right. Supes morality is the only thing standing in his way.

LB – Again we should have tax breaks for green energy

Rob! – Thank goodness for all the resetting of the timeline or there’d be even more horrors to scare the general populous. Our life is so easy without all the cosmic threats, so why aren’t more folks recycling? It’s madness I tells ya…

EW- LOL, yeah everyday should be earth day but I guess we can only muster one out of the calendar.

Nukes and Nuclear energy really bother me, since the cold war is “over” it’s been on the back burner but it just as dane4rous as ever.

Arkonbey – yeah but it’s a designer drug derived from magic or superscience
