It's perhaps the most surreal experience of my life...
...And I'm standing amongst them. Nite Owl shakes my hand. The Comedian slaps me on the back. Silk Spectre smiles a dazzling greeting. I'm overwhelmed by the depth and detail of what I'm seeing.
But more than that. I'm overwhelmed by the commitment, the passion, the palpable desire to do this right.
I'm starting to feel a glow that eclipses even Dr. Manhattan's...

I hope they live up to the lead up. Sounds like they are putting out the effort for sure.
I know it's heresy but I haven't read this GN.
Considering it's a comics holy grail I feel bad.
snab - me too, but these little indications are VERY positive signs. Best sign that's it set in 1985 just like the graphic novel

Powell's at lunch? or I can let you borrow it when I get it back form someone else.
Yeah, Powells IS ideal for that. Problem is I don't really take lunch unless I'm eating with someone. I'll take some "me time" and make it happen so I can read that and The 300 which also looks good.
If you think about it there's what amounts to a small comics library right across the street and I'm not doing a darn thing about it. As Chris Farley would say...
Stupid, stupid, stupid.
Yeah over the summer the expanded their comics section quite a bit.
