The old 1970s Deathlok the Demolisher cyborg is another of my favorite characters. I felt the cover blurb "Yesterday Dies Today!" from Astonishing Tales #31 very appropriate for the New Year.
I think he shoud be the new Capatin America!

Actually, when Excaliubur was traipsing through the multiverse they ended up on a world full of twisted Marvel heroes. Alan Davis actually gave their version of Captain America a Deathlok-esqe eye and mask.
