Army of Darkness titles with multiple covers each are leaving me confused as I catch up (I know - just buy the trade.)

Where are the current "new" stories set? It's not the post-apocalyptic scenario is it?

He's defeated Evil Ash and is exploring the post-apocalyptic world.

See the Dynamite Entertainment website here

Also the wikipedia has a good chronological list to it all.

I haven't collected in years, and have been thinking about starting up again, but I feel so damn lost with so much stuff out there.

The last issue I bought of anything was probably some Punisher War Journal years and years ago. Yikes!

So, you're loving The Twleve? I was wondering if it was good. I mean, JMS kicked but on B5, but Rising Stars was a disappointment (of course that could have been the terrible art).

Digging the Westerns myself, and have loved any of the Jonah Hex I've read so far. I have the first trade of Loveless too - may have to check out some more.

Randal – If you want to read comics now my suggestion would be to pick up collections in trade paperback form. That way you can read and stick on your bookshelf and not have to fuss with putting tons of comics in bags. There’s a lot I could suggest but I’m not familiar with your tastes but One Title I’m sure I could recommend is Tales of the Clerks. It collects all the various Kevin Smith/Viewaskew universe comics in one handy volume… Lot of stories that interweave with the films.

Let me now what you like, and I’ll make some recommendations, Also lots of libraries carry trades now so that’s great for reading for free.

Arkonbey – I think the twelve is the best superhero comic I’ve read in a long time. Definitely as good as Alan Moore ABC stuff and maybe getting, into the realm of watchmen (but of course we’ll have to see how the story plays out to be sure). I think using new/forgotten characters really give it a freshness that’s sorely needed in superhero comics. The art is topnotch in IMHO.

Eaglewing – I like Jonah Hex a lot too! But I wanted more westerns to read (and I’ve never been a Western fan before!) that’s why I picked up the Loveless trade. I’ll be getting more of those trades soon. I’m also reading Lone Ranger, Bat Lash, Streets of Glory, and Zorro.

Again, Swinebread, curse you.

Now I have to make another trip to the Local (terrible) Comic Store to be told they don't have this.

Grrr.
