Because it took a Woman, Jann Jones, to bring back Ambush Bug (see here). First Captain Carrot now my favorite wacko Green teleporter! DC has just pulled ahead of Marvel in my book. (Which wasn’t hard to do mind you)
Ambush Bug is reemerging this summer and all the stupid, comic book events we’ve all been complaining about are gonna’ get skewered. And Yes, Giffen and Fleming (the original creators) are crafting these latter-day Loony Toons. Finally…! Thank you Jann.
If this new Ambush Bug is a hit, then maybe we might see his adventures collected. One can only hope.

I think I'm going to have to go to my (terrible, do not want to set foot there) local comic store to check that (and Giant Monster) out.
I don't know if I should pay you for showing me this cool stuff I have to buy, or punch you for forcing me to spend money on new comics ;)

Well, it certainly looks interesting...and we can use some comic relief with some of the current political news!
So. Went to the (hated) local comic store today and what did I find? No Ambush Bug and no Giant Monster.
Grrrr.
Arkonbey – Sorry the terrible comic store ☹ didn’t have any Ambush Bug. The new series isn’t out until this summer. The old issues from the 80s are really worth tracking down though. I highly recommend them. 1985 was when the first 4-issue mini came out along with the 1 issue stocking stuffer and then in 1986 a 6 –issue mini “Son of Ambush Bug” came out. There are a few others but those are the big ones. Maybe order online? …or your next trip to a bigger city?
Giant Monster just came out, so that is nothing short of lame.
